David holds a master's degree in public administration and a graduate certificate in human rights from the University of Connecticut. He is also pursuing a doctorate in law and policy from Northeastern University. He proudly serves as the Co-Chair for the state's LGBTQ+ Social Justice and Opportunity Network and is a member of the State Comptroller's LGBTQ+ healthcare subcommittee. He was elected to the Board of Assessment Appeals for the City of New Britain in 2023 and is currently serving as the board's chair. His policy focus areas are reducing housing insecurity for LGBTQ+ youth, increasing equitable healthcare access, and expanding economic opportunities for marginalized populations.
